It Was Good to Be Back

SO, HERE'S THE THING ABOUT NOT PLAYING FOOTBALL FOR NEARLY TWO MONTHS: WE COULDN'T REALLY TELL ... OR GIVE A DAMN. IT WAS A BLAST.

Perhaps it was the weather, creeping near 55 degrees.

Or maybe it was the turnout—the usual big crew with some new folks, including our new rugby convert, Nate, and Tim Crowley, who grew up in Ireland and hadn't played in five years (it certainly didn't show).

Or maybe it was the fact that Gary Dize, our resident photographer, was making us look all lithe and cunning on the pitch. He's a magician with the lens.

There's something pretty damn great about a game that can instantly make you feel like a kid. And that, my friends, is what football and spring are all about. Scroll through the photos below.
